In a late-second twist: Opium and the Literary Death Match are ecstatic to announce LDM University, a new wrinkle for the series in which we visit college campuses to put on our award-winning event. For the kick-off, we head to Syracuse, where you’ll see readers Roy Kesey (author of All Over, and featured in Best American Short Stories 2007), Alex Yates (representing Salt Hill), Mi Detmar (representing Stone Canoe), Dan Roche (author of Great Expectation: A Father’s Diary) all judged by Phil LaMarche (author of American Youth), Chris Kennedy (director of Syracuse’s MFA program) and Elizabeth Koch (former executive editor of Opium, and Glimmer Train contest finalist)! Mayhem abound!
